Cypher Labs AlgoRhythm Solo -R ($499) and Solo -dB ($699)
Both Cypher Labs and ALO Audio have been on a rampage of product development this year to produce state-of-the-art portable audio rigs. Cypher Lab's contribution is a refresh of the AlgoRhythm Solo (now designated with a "-R" in the name), which includes very much extended battery life that will charge your iPhone and last up to 14 hours. At that point, when you disconnect your phone, it will still have a full charge. Very cool! Connected to the iDevice, the DAC will run at 16/44.1...and, yes, it will work with the new iPhone 5!

New to the line is the AlgoRhythm Solo -dB, which does everything that the -R does, but adds balanced outputs to feed ALO Audio Rx MK3-B portable balanced amplifier. It's also capable of being connected via USB to a computer and decodes digital bitstreams up to 24/192.
