I was merrily listening to Silent Strike (merrily may be the wrong word to use with them) on MOG through my Squeeze Server, when all of a sudden the music stopped. I look at my iPad, which is running iPeng to control everything, and things just start disappearing. I push the MOG button and a cryptic message shows up to reconfigure MOG on mysqueezebox.com. After a bit of fumbling, 'cuz everything looked fine, I pointed my browser at mog ... and was greeted with a bunch of weird posts about their service interuption.

Dontcha just love a company with a sense of humor?

Months go by like weeks now. It's either because I love this job, or that I'm not writing enough posts between Updates. Probably both, but that's okay. I'll get faster because I love this job.

Let's see what's up with InnerFidelity this month...

Have you ever had the experience of looking at something, and your brain can't figure out what it is, and you stare but can not perceive?

"Otra Sanata" is something like that.

Call me out of touch with pop-culture, but I had no idea what the "True Blood" referred to on V-MODA's V-80 True Blood headphone. A quick Google and I know we have a new kind of celebrity headphone, one endorsed by a T.V. show about vampires. Fine with me because ...

... these headphones are AWESOME!

Wander through InnerFidelity and you'll stumble upon a lot of good headphones. But I thought I'd save you some time, and pick a couple hands full of some of the best ways to fill the head of someone you love, with music.

We'll start with the least expensive and work our way up.

I don't want to break my arm patting myself on the back or anything, but heck, I do have a category for news.

And I reckon being mentioned in the NY Times is a bit of good news.

I've got an open invitation to visit Skullcandy's headphone R&D labs in Park City Utah ... and I'll be taking them up on it sometime soon. Why? Because I want to see what they're doing that let them build a few darn good sounding headphones lately.

The Mix Master is one of them.

Quincy Jones has it going on, and I liked their higher-end Quincy Jones Q701 when I reviewed it a while ago. But now we come to a very small, sealed portable headphone, the Quincy Jones Q460.

Let's see how it does.

Bob Marley's "Exodus" ... wow, what a great album. I must have heard it a thousand times. It's a total classic. Prior to receiving these, I wondered skeptically if Bob Marley "Exodus" the headphone would be a classic. Time will tell ...

... but I think they're off to a good start.

Headphone enthusiasm is alive and well in Japan! Fujia AVIC, an electronics on-line and brick-and-mortar retailer in Tokyo, organizes a bi-annual headphone festival that is headphone otaku at it's finest.
