CanJam at RMAF 2013: Reid Heath Acoustics

Representing Reid Heath Acoustics, Lyndsey Gibson and Hazel McCormack made the trip from Scotland to RMAF for the first time to introduce their new MA600i ($89.95) and MA750i ($129.95) dynamic earphones to CanJam show-goers.

Quite unusual for products at this price, both RHA earphones are metal; the MA600i is aluminum, and the MA750i is stainless steel. Both, however, have RHA's signature "Aerophonic" shape to couple sound to the ear. Somewhat like an inverted trumpet bell, RHA claims this shape "concentrates sound naturally and allows air to progress unobstructed and unforced from the speaker into the ear." You can read more about it here.

The folks at RHA have been really good about sending me gear over the last couple of years, and I have to say, it keeps getting better all the time. I'm looking forward to samples of their new cans for a listen and measure, until then I'll leave you with a video of Lyndsey and Hazel demonstrating their new IEMs.

They sent over the MA750 for me to check out, and it's an extremely well built IEM. Sounds pretty good too, but the design/build/packaging is off the charts.
