Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2019 Kicks -off Thursday

The legendary Rocky Mountain Audio Fest has a scheduling and venue change for 2019.

The show has made the leap from its longtime home at the Denver Marriott Tech Centre to a larger venue closer to the airport in the guise of the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Centre. RMAF also won’t be in its traditional October slot, instead things kick-off for industry people this Thursday September, 5th and the rest of the world from the 6th to the 8th.

For 2019, the show hours and address are as follows: Trades Only – Thursday 10 a.m. ~ 6 p.m., Open to all – Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m. ~ 6 p.m., Sunday – 10 a.m. ~ 4 p.m. at the Gaylord Rockies Resort 6700 North Gaylord Rockies Blvd, Aurora, Colorado.

This year’s date change for the show has thrown some people off, but fear not traditionalists out there, the RMAF website confirms this change in the schedule is a mere blip: it will be back in its usual October time slot for 2020 and 2021 (October 1-4, 2020 and October 7-10 for 2012).

Always a show apart from the usual high-fidelity industry show tour in North America, RMAF is not just unique because of its dates and location, but also because there are a cadre of manufacturers and distributors who only choose this show to take part in instead of the other North American stops. This will be the first time in the last five years I won’t be attending Rocky Mountain, but luckily I have Grover Neville covering things for InnerFidelity. Look for posts from Denver after the show gets underway.
