CanJam at RMAF 2016: Meze 11 Neo and 12 Classics Low-Cost In-Ear Monitor

I really enjoyed reviewing the Meze Classic so I couldn't pass up the chance to listen to their new, low-cost in-ear monitor line-up. The 11 Neo ($59) is available in gun metal and iridium livery, the 12 Classics are gun metal and walnut wood. Both models use a Titanium coated 8mm mylar driver and have a one-button remote/mic module. The 12 Classics have a copper-clad aluminum voice coil.

I had a good listen and found these earphones very nice indeed for the money. The 12 Classics were smooth and melodious; the 11 Neo a little drier sounding. Both seemed fairly well balanced. Looks like Meze Headphones is filling out their headphone line quite nicely. I just love it when folks make affordable, well-built products that sound good.

His name is spelled "Mircea" :)

I hoped I would see the Classics 99 with velour earpads though! (and a little bigger)
