The Falcon is Noble’s first True Wireless IEM, and has a laundry list of cool design features; dual carbon layer drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, Qualcomm APTx, and TrueWireless stereo plus. The real treat though is the price, which is a very reasonable $156 USD.

My connection with games actually precedes my experiences with audio gear, though I was introduced to both at a very early age.

I’m planning for this to be a regular ‘column’ if you will on InnerFidelity to post new music every month, or perhaps, every week if the interest is high, and I have the material for it. You’d be surprised by just how much new content comes out every week that’s actually both musically interesting and well recorded.

Audio and the industry at large have been distinctly West Coast-centric for many years. Between the huge Los Angeles and T.H.E. shows of years past, Canjam SoCal, and Rocky Mountain Audio Fest – and its accompanying Canjam – the midwest and East Coast have only recently gotten some audio show love.

2019 has been a fascinating year from a wireless headphone perspective – we’ve seen a lot of new companies jump into the wireless space, just as Apple changed the entire game in 2018 with their Earpods.

The Cleer Audio NEXT headphones themselves are a meticulously assembled piece of gear. The level of industrial fit and finish rivals the Focal Stellia’s I reviewed earlier this year, and the comfort is superior.

One of my very first serious, long-term headphones was the Beyerdynamic DT880, 250 Ohm ‘professional.’ It was the first headphone I owned that cost more than $100, and I still own it to this day.

Amazon launched Amazon Music HD this Tuesday, and it promises to be quite interesting. The service is available for Prime Subscribers for $12.99 USD and non Prime subscribers for $14.99 USD.

Rocky Mountain Audio Fest 2019 was an interesting journey. From a personal perspective, I had a great time, seeing friends, people like Jameson Mourafetis of F1 Audio, Eric Franklin Shook of Part-Time Audiophile and many others.

One of the final booths I stopped at, almost by accident, was the Etymotic booth. I’ve never really heard much from them that particularly grabbed my attention, but one of my friends urged me to go there. I’m sure glad I did stop by, because I would have missed some exciting and excellent finds if I hadn’t.
